Szaffi
I could talk a lot about Szaffi. She is my first great Maine Coon love. When she first came to me, I didn't plan on breeding her, I just wanted a kitten. Then I finally got into it, so she became my first breeding animal. She was a very kind, cuddly, friendly, playful queen even then. She raised the little ones beautifully, with pure love. A real mother type. Unfortunately, she became very sick 1 month after the "D" litter was born. We went from doctor to doctor, no one could help her, they didn't know what was wrong with her, until finally, as a last resort, we took her to a veterinary hospital in Budapest. There they immediately told her that she had a twisted intestine. Needless to say, I survived a terrible 1 week, because according to the doctor, we arrived with her at the last minute. Her condition was very critical, we thought she wouldn't survive. But since Szaffi is a real fighter, and we were given a little luck, she survived the surgery! She was still under observation in the hospital for 1 week, but then we were able to bring her home. We fought a lot to help her regain her old condition... But now she has fully recovered, and not to mention, she has gained a lot of weight! It is true that she can no longer have her own kittens, but in return she babysits our other females kittens. She is still like she was when she was a kitten, a gluttonous, playful, cuddly little (big) kitten, whom I never let go of. I don't carry the 7 kg weight on my chest that well anymore, but when she lies on me, I prefer to suffer in silence... :)
If there is a soulmate relationship between a human and an animal, then she is the one for me.
